Kielbasa and Cabbage Recipe

  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt & pepper


  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare a roasting pan, with cover, by spraying lightly with cooking spray. 
  • Remove outer leaves from cabbage. Cut cabbage into quarters and then cut each quarter in half. Wash cabbage and place in roasting pan. Peel potatoes, cut into quarters and place in pan with cabbage. Peel carrots, cut into 4 pieces each and add to cabbage and potatoes. Cut kielbasa into eight pieces, and add to pan with cabbage. Add salt and pepper. Add 1 cup of water and ½ cup of olive oil. Cover pan and place in preheated oven. Cook for about 1 hour.
