  • 1 long loaf Cuban bread
  • 12 slices Spanish roast pork
  • 12 slices sweet ham
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • Sliced dill pickles about 18 slices
  • Mustard
  • Butter or cooking spray


  • To make the sandwiches, cut the loaf of bread into 6 parts, and slice each part completely in half. Spread mustard on every slice of bread. For each sandwich, add 3 pickle slices, and 2 slices each of pork, ham, and cheese.
  • Lightly butter each side of the sandwich, or coat the bottom of a skillet with cooking spray. Set the heat to medium. Add two sandwiches at a time to the pan, and press with another skillet or a grill press to flatten the sandwiches. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, until each side is lightly toasted. You can also use a Panini press to flatten the sandwiches. Serve immediately.
