Southern Pecan Pie
- 3 eggs slightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- In a medium bowl, stir eggs, sugar, corn syrup, bullter, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shall. Bake in 350°F oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on rack.
This recipe is a slightly adapted version of Southern Pecan Pie found on the South Georgia Pecan Company's 8 ounce bag of pecan halves.
