Sometimes less is more. This quick and easy recipe is a great side for frittat or pizza. Try it with a variety of leaf lettuces.
Leaf Lettuce with Balsamic Recipe
Yield: 2 servings
- 10-12 lettuce leaves (Romaine, red leaf, green leaf are good)
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Wash and dry lettuce leaves and place on a platter. Lightly sprinkle with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Move the leaves around to make sure all leaves are covered.
